Participants in Bauchi Metropolis receives Business Starter Packs

As FLEP Nigeria RAISE Project continues in Bauchi State, 60 committed participants who successfully completed their Grow Assignments have received business Starter Assets after completing entrepreneurship, financial literacy, and record-keeping training in Bauchi Metropolis.

The support, which includes grinding machines, sewing machines, refrigerators, laptops, electrical working tools, barbing equipment, catering equipment, makeup kits, generators and other business tools, is designed to help participants strengthen their businesses, increase their income and better support their families. This initiative reflects FLEP Nigeria’s commitment to holistic empowerment and contributes to SDGs 1, 2, 5 and 8: No Poverty, Zero Hunger, Gender Equality, and Decent Work and Economic Growth.

We appreciate our partners and sponsors, Children’s Mission Africa and @skandinaviska_barnmissionen, for supporting this work.

The journey still continues – from training and practical assignments to mentorship, stronger businesses, increased income and financial independence for the participants, their families and communities.

For us as an organization, there is more to be done as we have realized the need to reach more underserved communities and vulnerable individuals.Together we can do more and provide opportunities for people to live a dignified life.
