Spreading the Joy of Christmas to Orphans and IDP Children in Abuja and Jos
This Christmas, FLEP with the support of Barnmissionen organized a heartwarming celebration for more than 100 orphans from three Orphanage Homes and one IDP Camp in Abuja and also more than 200 orphans from seven different Orphanage Homes in Jos. The event aimed to create joyful memories for the children while spreading the festive cheer of the season.
The celebration featured a variety of engaging activities designed not only for fun but also for instilling important moral values. The children were encouraged to embrace integrity, honesty, and socially accepted principles, while rejecting corruption and other negative influences.
The project sought to bring light and joy to each child, taking away the loneliness that often accompanies orphanhood, especially in seasons like this. Witnessing the children’s smiles and their participation in the activities was truly fulfilling for the FLEP team. This project demonstrates the power of love, community, and kindness in creating lasting memories and a sense of belonging for these children.
Do something special for someone this Christmas!
