Team FLEP engages School Children

Thrive Ahead Project (TAP) is engaging school children at Sharing prosperity school Kuchingoro IDP camp on how to build godly values and character. We want to prepare the mind of the children to become intentional leaders who will stand up against corruption and hence eradicate generational poverty.
FLEP team recently mobilized the school children to clean their classrooms and the surrounding environment.

The activity aimed to instill hard work, teamwork, and responsibility in the pupils. They grabbed` brooms, dustpans, and trash bags, eagerly transforming their space into a clean and welcoming environment. The FLEP team guided them while discussing the significance of taking responsibility for their surroundings and how hard work and teamwork foster stronger communities.

As they cleaned, the children cheered each other on and discovered the joy of working together. One pupil, Ali, stated, “I learned that keeping my environment clean is my responsibility, not someone else’s duty.” This activity showed the pupils they have the power to create change from where they are. It was a reminder that the journey to a corruption-free society begins with small actions—actions that these children will carry with them into the future.
